We started the weekend out at Disney World (you can read about how I won Annual Passes for my family to Disney World here.) We had a wonderful time meeting with my best friend of 25 years and her 3 kids. My 4-year-old daughter is truly going to miss Disney when our passes run out in June!
On Sunday my 8-year-old son and my husband woke up early and made the drive from Orlando to Daytona Beach to watch the Daytona 500 (I won the tickets in January). Unfortunately for them it was rained out and they didn't make it back to our home in Jacksonville until 9 p.m. Completely soaked. As we speark they are back in Daytona Beach in hopes that the race will not be rained out again. Cross your fingers!
